Tokuzo Knives Original Bunka Knife.
The bunka is a versatile knife widely used in Japanese homes. While its shape is similar to a santoku, it features a sharp, pointed tip, making it suitable for preparing a wide range of ingredients including meat, fish, and vegetables.
The pointed tip allows for detailed, precise work, and its relatively short blade length makes it comfortable for tasks close to the hand.
The handle is crafted from natural wood, providing a secure and comfortable grip that reduces fatigue even during extended cooking sessions.
The blade is finished in the traditional Tosa kurouchi style, forged from steel and shaped by hand by skilled blacksmiths—an increasingly rare technique today. The cutting edge is also beautifully darkened, giving the knife an elegant and distinctive appearance.
